One project, EasyFit is an insulation product that allows for the installation of fiberglass batts without requiring the use of a knife. In its first full year of commercialization, EasyFit accounted for over $50 million in sales in the retail and residential markets. Bogrett was responsible for overall project management including technology development, marketing strategy, product development from concept to commercialization, sales support and training, intellectual property strategy and senior management updates.
Bogrett was an early champion of Stage Gate within JM and led the corporate / worldwide development and implementation of JET, Johns Manville’s Stage Gate system. This included the development of a web enabled software system, corporate wide training and project coaching. Bogrett also led the turnaround of a $30million business from multi million dollar losses to 15% IFO margins. By focusing on customer requirements and reducing costs accordingly. Bogrett was also tasked with turning around a JM startup business. This business had one competitor and was struggling with limited US sales. Bogrett’s international efforts led to the turnaround and eventual successful sale of this business.
