VALUE INNOVATION CENTER [VIC]

Solvay Advanced Polymers describes their “Innovation Café” as not a place, but a “State of Mind.” Solvay’s concept is the inspiration behind our Value Innovation Center (VIC).

VIC is a space and time where we provide two Value Innovation subject matter experts to work with your Innovation Team using a 10-Step Value Innovation Process (VIP). The combined team will define what’s required to move your new service or product into a “Blue Ocean.”

The VIP is the front end of your Phase-Gate or Toll-Gate process.

The VIC will operate at a location of your choice, e. g., A dedicated space at your company’s university, Vi’s warehouse located within 5 minutes of Centennial Airport (the South side of the Denver Tech Center), a business school of your choice, other.

Here’s how the VIC works: Your team and Vi’s Subject Matter Experts meet for 2 to 3 days to scope the project and define the path forward. The team executes the short-term plan and reconvenes at the VIC several weeks later to review the findings and define next steps. This process is repeated until the “Blue Ocean” opportunity is defined and vetted by your most important customers.
